1968~27~1996
Caught by the tail & hogtied in the latest of the late 60’s,
The entirety of the 70’s, 80’s, and half of the 90’s
Unanimously kamikaze longevity act bush telegraph the quintuple
that peeled an Apple to its self-destructive core
consequently leaving administration after administration
unable to adjust the volume of drugs, robbery, police double-dealing, and, murder
Now, this municipality isn’t just the best of the best on its home field
It even goes farther than that like a perfectly thrown
Hail Mary pass in defense of insubordination
It’s mass transit system’s became a battleground
where there was no sleep as atrocities mushroom globally
To the highest peak indisputably
And when you imagine inhospitable touching the sky on cocaine
The blown fuse of 77 laced a pure stone onto a glass dick
To give another despondency perspective
This one-fourth of a century is definitely going down in the record books: airport bombing,
son of Sam, dead president heists, cop beatings & killings, February
& December of 93 and how could it not be learnt the consequences of Malcolm X
Visibility to the end is near as I don’t remember how in hell I arrived here
but before I forget and lose track of a piece of myself
here’s a sticky-note of my 2 cents: Queens || Bronx || Brooklyn || Harlem || Yonkers
