Spirit’s Visual Reportage

That brilliant and magnificent picture of a Spirit plane on the home page isn’t your random showpiece. I just didn’t decide to decorate my home page and this post with a black and yellow airplane, especially since their doors have folded. There’s a signification behind that gem!

Actually I took that picture while I was on my way yonder~way, well after the theme came to life. I was bouncing around trying to find a footing when I road into Detroit, Michigan and hating every moment of it. Since I knew staying wasn’t an option I started looking elsewhere. Just as soon as the semester ended at (WCCCD) Wayne County Community College District, my existence in the motor city would come to an abruptly deactivation.

While online looking for a reasonable price ticket me and Spirit cross paths. At the time I couldn’t believe what I was seeing and reading: Detroit too Los Angeles too Chicago. The offer was very tempting. If I remember correctly the layover was over six hours but I had to look elsewhere, like Greyhound. The ticket would be purchased weeks in advance. However, my confidence wasn’t high enough that I wouldn’t board that plane with my pockets on “E”.
